I am a Chicago-based painter with a background in graphic design and illustration. My work explores the fragility and profound wonder of sight, an ongoing meditation on perception itself. Using acrylic, oil pastel, charcoal, and ink, I translate the ephemeral light and forms of everyday moments into layered color and texture. Through both my fine art and commercial practice, I seek to preserve and celebrate the visual poetry that defines our experience of the world.
